Who benefits from Hope Hospice care?

Hope Hospice serves patients when they are ready to focus on care and comfort rather than aggressive, curative measures and when there is a life threatening illness with the possibility of a six month life expectancy. The emphasis is on alleviating pain and other distressful symptoms and improving quality of life.

How are referrals made to Hope Hospice care?

Services may be requested by:

Who pays for Hope Hospice Services?

Hope Hospice services are covered by Medicare and Medicaid, as well as most private insurance. Nursing home patients covered by Medicare or Medicaid receive hospice services at no additional charge. A sliding scale fee is available for private pay patients. Hope Hospice also cares for patients with limited financial resources.
