Children's Grief Program Volunteer Training - Part 1

Children’s Grief Program Volunteer Training is a mandatory training for anyone interested in volunteering for the Hope Hospice Children’s Grief Program. An interview and registration are required to attend, and participants must attend Part I, Part II, and one evening of observation at Family Night. This training will cover policies and procedures of the Children’s Grief Program, communicating with children about death and dying, exploration of personal grief experiences, death & dying, cultural diversity, working with survivors of suicide, introduction to play therapy, self-care, and many activities that are experiential and interactive.
